Ashlyn Kay "Aggie" Maphet

Aggie Maphet, age 26, passed away July 23, 2020 at her home in North Zulch, Texas. A graveside service will be held 5 P.M., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Plainview Cemetery in Madison County, Texas officiated by Pastor Jonathan Poe. A brief visitation will take place before the service from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.

Ashlyn Kay “Aggie” Maphet was born January 23, 1995 in Bryan, Texas to Brodrick Dale Maphet & Alyssa Kimble Spikes. When she was younger she played softball, basketball and volleyball. Aggie always looked forward to summers when she was able to take care of her nieces, nephews and cousin, Keegan. She loved computer games, snow skiing and any time she was able to ride on the motorcycle or boat. Aggie also volunteered in the nursery at church.

Aggie was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Linda Spikes; paternal grandfather, Ronney Maphet and niece, Aly Kendalyn Maphet. She is survived by father, Brodrick Maphet; mother, Alyssa Maphet; paternal grandmother, Patricia Maphet; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Spikes; brother, Hunter Maphet (fiancé, Brandy Drozd) of Houston; sisters, Taryn Smith (Robert) of Killeen and Breanne Maphet of North Zulch; nieces & nephew, Kasen, Kambralyn, Kaydence & Gunner and cousin, Keegan Spikes, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and other cousins.

Arrangements are entrusted to Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
