Funeral services for Tony Dean will be held 1 P.M., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Terry Dean and Bro. Bobby Brown will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Willowhole Cemetery, North Zulch, Texas. A visitation will be held from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the funeral home.
Tony Harold Dean, 61, of North Zulch, Texas, passed away on January 1, 2022, in Bryan, Texas. On May 18, 1960, Tony was born to Harold Glenn Dean & Marilyn (Watson) in Madisonville, Texas. He lived in Madison County all his life, working as a production supervisor in the oil business for forty-one years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a member of Bedias Baptist Church. Tony and his wife loved working together building their life and enjoyed their cattle and horses, as well. Most memorably, Tony was the best husband, father and "Poppa" to his grandkids and a great son to his mother.
He is survived by his wife, D’Ann Dean of Madisonville, Texas; mother, Marilyn (Watson) Havard of Madisonville, Texas; sons, Dustin Dean (Angela) of Liberty Hill, Texas, Darren Dean (Kaitlyn) of College Station, Texas; daughter, Delanie Scamardo (Sean) of Bryan, Texas; brothers, Terry Dean (Laura) of Madisonville, Texas; cousin who was “like a brother”, Brandon Standley (Natalie) of Iola, Texas; mother-in-law, Anita Aldridge of North Zulch, Texas; sister-in-law, Alisa Webb (Cleatis) of Ohio; grandchildren, Claire and Daniel Dean, Colby and Anna Dean, Parker and Emerie Scamardo; nieces and nephews, Aaron and Philip Dean, Jonathan and Jason Lawrenz, Kasee, Jodee and Remington Alford.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Dean; sister, Dawn Dean Lawrenz and niece, Crystal Lawrenz.
