Arthur John Robertson, Jr. was born on July 25, 1933, in Houston, Texas to Arthur John Robertson and Edna (Mormon) Robertson, and passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024.

One of Arthur’s greatest passions was his horses, and he never passed up the opportunity to go for a ride. He was comfortable in the saddle and the outdoors was one of his favorite places to be. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking off down the open road. He had a knack for building things with his hands and was quite crafty and talented, resulting in the completion of many meaningful projects.

Arthur was a well-armed gun owner who found great value in taking aim whenever able. As long as he liked you, you had nothing to worry about. Truth be told, Arthur was a kind soul who looked after people. He was generous and had an authentic care for others. Arthur had a real presence in the lives of those around him and was rarely caught without a cowboy hat. He will be fondly remembered by many as a person who embraced a simple life, worked hard, and enjoyed the many blessings around him. His greatest adoration was for his family who he loved dearly.

A memorial service for Arthur Robertson is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10 A.M. at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Bedias,Texas. Pastor Joe Gray will officiate the service.
