On August 27, 2020 after a long battle with cancer God reached out to his child and said, “no more suffering it’s time to come home”. Mrs. Bennie Sue Wallace McCarty was born on December 4, 1936 to the proud parents of Nancy and Jack Wallace, she was born in Madisonville, Tx and lived unto her final day. She was united in holy matrimony to Harold Ray McCarty and was blessed with five children. At a young age she joined Wilson Chapel Methodist Church and later united with Sweet Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Bennie attended school at Marion Anderson in Madsionville, Tx. For many years she worked as a private care worker for the Callaham’s and then as a cook at Ma and Pop Daycare.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Nancy and Jack Wallace, husband Harold Ray, two sons: Harold and Jackie, daughter Nancy, brothers: J.B., John Ed and Rick, sisters: Wilma Gene, Ruby, Olevia, Pauline and Ola Mae. She lives to honor her memory one daughter Ola McCarty, two step-daughter Donna and Robbie and one son Glenn McCarty. 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends: Ed Johnson and Emma (Laura) Washington.

Homegoing services for Mrs. McCarty will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. A visitation will take place Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are entrusted to Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
