Billie Faye Wells

Billie Wells, 88, of Madisonville, Texas passed away June 28, 2020. She was born January 19, 1932 in Singleton, Texas to parents, Earnest & Vera (Buckholtz) Peteete. Billie was a homemaker and lived in Singleton most of her life. She was an excellent cook and loved her family dearly. Billie was a member of the Church at Singleton and will be greatly missed by her both her family and extended church family.

Billie was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by husband, Edgar E. Wells, Sr. of Singleton; sons, Jimmy Wells (Wanda Kay), Billy Joe Wells (Brenda Kay) and Edgar Wells, Jr. (Pamela Kay), all of Singleton; daughter, Elise Wells of Singleton; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Billie will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Church at Singleton. Pastor Floyd Hoke will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Singleton Cemetery. A brief visitation will be held before the service Wednesday from 9 A.M. to service time.
