Billy Eugene "Bill" Fautheree was born August 23, 1938 to Aubrey D. And Mary Ella Woodall Fautheree, Sr. in Smackover, Arkansas. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 17, 2024, at the age of 85.

Bill was known to be a hard worker and loved woodworking, playing the guitar, old country and gospel music, western movies, working around the property whether it was mowing, working in the flower beds or planting and working in the garden. 

Bill graduated from Smackover High School in Arkansas in 1958 then joined the US Army in 1961. He was honorably discharged in 1963 after serving his country proudly and he loved the American Flag. After the Army he worked for BSI as an industrial insulator and a member of Local 22 in Houston, Texas for 25 years.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Martha Dean Fautheree of Midway, Texas; son, Allen Fautheree (Claudia) of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Melissa Fautheree of Cedar Park, Texas; granddaughter, Annie Fautheree James (Chris) of Huntsville, Texas; brother, Aubrey D. Fautheree, II (Joycelyn) of Kentwood, Louisiana; sister, Shirley Fautheree Moyer of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Jerry Shuck of Midway; brother-in-law, Harold Dean (Cheryl) of Georgetown, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill Fautheree was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Allen Ray Fautheree and Ira Newton Fautheree; sisters, Katie Fautheree Broussard and Sue Fautheree Shuck; brothers-in-law, Lavern Broussard, John Moyer.

By request of the family, there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Midway Volunteer Fire Department or to Harvest Church in Crockett, Texas. 

Final arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
