Billy H Guyton

Funeral services for Billy H. Guyton, 82, of Huntsville, will be held 11 A.M., Friday, June 26, 2020 at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. Interment will follow in Centerville Cemetery. A brief visitation will take place Friday morning from 10 A.M. to service time at the funeral home.

Billy H. Guyton was born September 14, 1937 in Centerville to Rufus & Maude Mae (Whitaker) Guyton. He was a graduate of Centerville High School and served his country in the U.S. Army. Billy worked as an inspector for the Texas Department of Transportation for thirty-eight years. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing and hunting. Billy was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Centerville and had lived in Huntsville for the past six years after residing in Madisonville for fifty years. He passed away June 22, 2020 in Huntsville. Billy was preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Wayne Guyton; grandson, Derrick Bussey; mother-in-law, Alvina Luedke and father-in-law, Charlie Luedke.

Surviving family members include wife, Alvera Guyton of Huntsville; daughters, Carrie Hines (Tim) of Bryan and Donna Bussey of Huntsville; grandchildren, Laura Polasek, Jonathan Hines and Kelsey Manning and great-grandchildren, Micayla & Madi Polasek, Jaxon & Jordan Hines and Kali, Colt, Braxton & Jenni Manning.

Pallbearers: Tim Hines, Steven Polasek, James Coldiron, Jonathan Hines, Russell Luedke, Cody Free
