Brenda Joyce Roberts

Brenda J. Roberts passed away on December 20, 2024, in Madisonville, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born on March 2, 1951, in Houston, Texas to Charles and Celia (Maywall) Price. Brenda worked for Cleveland I.S.D. as custodial director.

She loved spending time with her family, doing crafts, and watching Hallmark and horror movies.

Brenda was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Elmer Roberts, and sisters, Veda King, Edith Quinn, and Odessa Vincent.

She is survived by her three children, Dewey Roberts (Rebecca) of Madisonville, Clint Roberts (Kristie Bittick) of Riverside and Tricia Hawthorne (Lane) of Tarkington; five grandchildren, Haley Harkins (Bobby) of Cleveland, Ashley Roberts (Cody Linney) of George West, Nikki Roberts of Madisonville, Olivia Bittick Roberts of Riverside and Ariel Roberts of Plano; three great-grandchildren, Carter, Charleigh and Crew Harkins, as well as many other adopted children, grandchildren, extended family and loving friends.

To celebrate Brenda’s rich life and the love she shared, family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service, officiated by Pastor Wade Phillips, on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas. A time of visitation, allowing loved ones to share their memories and express their condolences will take place one hour before the service, beginning at 1:00 P.M.

All are welcome to join in honoring Brenda’s remarkable life. Her legacy of love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
