Carol Lee Theiss

Carol Lee Theiss, of Normangee, Texas passed away suddenly, November 5, 2017 in Madisonville, Texas. She was seventy-six years old. Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in North Zulch, Texas. Pastor Randall Smith will officiate the service and interment will follow in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery near the church. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., Tuesday, November 7th at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.

Carol Lee Theiss was born on July 4, 1941 in Houston, Texas. Her parents were Lesa & Edna (Feuhs) Bonin. She had lived the past forty-four years in rural Normangee where she spent the majority of her time taking care of her family. Carol was a devoted homemaker and an extraordinary caregiver to her daughter, Lisa. She was also an accomplished seamstress. Carol loved flowers and was a superior gardener, keeping flower beds all around her home. She was a faithful member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in North Zulch.

Carol was preceded in death by both of her parents; beloved husband, Harvey Theiss; daughter, Lisa Michelle Theiss; paternal grandparents, Norvel & Sally Bonin and maternal grandparents, Henry & Emma Fehus.

Surviving family members include son & daughter-in-law, Lorne & Amanda Theiss of Normangee; grandchildren, Callie, Cavan, Breely, Hunter & Adaline Theiss and Allison Harris and great grandsons, Henry & Michael Harris.

Pallbearers: Cavan Theiss, Mike Schurmann, Larry Adcock, Pastor Paul Harris, Rodney Murphy, Dennis Theiss, Justin Lawson & Daniel Harris. Honorary Pallbearers: J.H. "Jake" Goodson, Jerry Goodson & Arch Wiese.
