David Allen Edwards

Memorial services for David Edwards, age 72, of Madisonville, will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in North Zulch. Rev. Randall Smith, pastor of the church, will officiate the service.

David Allen Edwards was born January 6, 1947 in Springfield, Illinois to parents, Marshall Allen & Mary Wilberta (Nevens) Edwards. He grew up in Springfield and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. David worked as an engineering supervisor for the U.S. Government. In his spare time, he enjoyed building model cars and was an avid stamp collector. David had lived in Madisonville since 2009, coming from Tucson, Arizona and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He passed away July 4, 2019 at his home in Madisonville. David was preceded in death by both of his parents.

David is survived by wife, Pam (Campbell) Edwards of Madisonville; sons, Douglas Allen Edwards (Kathlyn) of Springfield, MO and Joshua David Edwards (Danielle) of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Nicholas Edwards (Ashley), Amelia Grace Edwards and Marshall Zachary and great- granddaughter, Salem Louise Edwards.

Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas is entrusted with final arrangements.
