Eddie Fairhurst

Graveside funeral services for Eddie Fairhurst, age 61, of College Station, will be held at 6:30 P.M., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Oxford Cemetery in the Cottonwood Community of Madison County, Texas. Rev. John Green will officiate the service. There will be no public visitation. Madisonville Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

Eddie Fairhurst was born on February 18, 1956 in Huntsville, Texas to Edward & Joe Anne Fairhurst. He worked for many years as a machinist at the Nov Grant Prideco Company in Navasota and had lived in College Station for the past thirty-five years. Eddie was an outdoor enthusiast and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved Dallas Cowboys Football, Indy Car Racing and woodworking. Eddie was Baptist in faith. He passed away on August 21, 2017 in College Station.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Edward Fairhurst. He is survived by his mother, Joe Anne Fairhurst of Madisonville; sons, Michael Fairhurst of Madisonville and Jacob & Andrew Fairhurst of College Station; daughters, Amy Nettum (husband, Nathaniel) and Lindsay Stirling (husband, Ben), all of College Station and brother, Robbie Fairhurst (wife, Stephanie) of College Station. Eddie is also survived by grandchildren, Alexis & Joshua Cantu; Brody & Brooklyn Nettum and Primrose Fairhurst and nephew, Ryan Fairhurst.
