Edgar Earl Wells, Sr.

Funeral services for Edgar Wells, age 91, will be held 10 A.M., Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Church at Singleton in Singleton, Texas. Pastor Floyd Hoke will officiate the service and interment will follow in Singleton Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Bret Wells, Adam Wells, Bo Wells, Jimmy Wells, Kevin Strong, Josh Mies, Rudy Flores

Edgar Earl Wells, Sr. was born February 11, 1929 in Iola, Texas to Sammie & Nora (Quinney) Wells. He served his country in the United States Navy and worked as an manager in industrial sales. Edgar had lived in Singleton since 1976 and was a member of the Church at Singleton. He loved ranching and everything that it encompassed, including raising cattle. Mr. Wells passed away October 6, 2020 in Madisonville, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Billie Faye Wells; brothers, S.D. & John Wilbert Wells and sister, Pearl Wells Norwood.

Surviving family members include sons, Edgar E. Wells, Jr & wife, Pamela Kay, Jimmy Lee Wells & wife, Wanda Kay and Billy Joe Wells & wife, Brenda Kay, all of Singleton; daughter, Elise Wells of Singleton; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church at Singleton, 13216 TX 90, Bedias, Texas 77831.
