Edith Irene (Goff) Springer Denman

Edith Irene (Goff) Springer Denman, 74, of Trinity, Texas passed away on March 15, 2023 in Trinity, Texas. She was born on November 9, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Joe Bailey Goff and Eddie Irene (Carroll) Goff.

A funeral service for Edith will be at 10 A.M., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Sister Crystal Wardlow-Campbell will officiate. A public visitation will take place from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. the evening of Friday, March 17, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Allphin Cemetery, Midway, Texas.

Edith raised four children, she was a doting grandmother who loved to cook and dance. She worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for ten years, her family described her as a real go-getter.

Edith was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband; and two sons, Kenneth Springer and Tim Springer. She is survived by her son, Dewayne Springer (Candace) of Huntsville, Texas; daughters, Shelly Springer of Madisonville, Texas and Kathy Williams of Huntsville, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's research.
