Edna Lunette Boyce

Funeral services for Edna Boyce, 75, of Midway, Texas, will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Rev. Aaron New will officiate the service, and interment will follow in Midway Cemetery, Midway, Texas. The Boyce family will receive friends Wednesday, October 6th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Edna Lunette Boyce was born April 12, 1946 in Houston, Texas to Harold William, Sr. & Edna Jeanette (Wilson) Rodgers. She had lived in Oakhurst, Texas for twenty years and worked for the Eckerds Distribution Warehouse for fifteen years. Edna was a member of Phelps Methodist Church, Phelps, Texas. Following her residence in Oakhurst, Edna lived in Huntsville for a brief time and finally made her home in Midway. Edna enjoyed gardening and taking care of her chickens. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart. Edna passed away October 1, 2021 at her home in Midway, Texas. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton LeBlanc, Sr.

Surviving family members include husband, John Charles Boyce of Midway; children, Raychell Tidwell (Drew) of Midway; Clifton LeBlanc, II (Kristy) of Midway and Michael LeBlanc (Abigail) of Midway; grandchildren, Gage Tate, Tabitha Tate, Karley LeBlanc, Trigger LeBlanc, Colt LeBlanc, Payton LeBlanc, Hunter LeBlanc and Genevive LeBlanc; eight great-grandchildren and half-sister, O’lafia Ingvarsdo’ttir of Iceland.

Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas is entrusted with final arrangements.
