Florentino Nava

A funeral mass for Mr. Florentino Nava, 50, of Madisonville, Texas will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Madisonville, Texas. Fr. Guillermo Gabriel-Maisonet will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Madisonville Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 4th from 4 P.M. to 6 P.M. at the funeral home with an all night vigil following at the church.

Florentino Nava was born October 16, 1970 in Arcelia, Guerrero, Mexico to Heriberto & Florencia Nava. He worked as a carpenter installing kitchen cabinets. Florentino had lived in Madisonville for the past twelve years, coming from Alabama and was Catholic in faith. When he wasn’t working, Florentino enjoyed fishing. He passed away suddenly July 28, 2021 at his home in Madisonville.

Florentino is survived by mother, Florencia Nava of Mexico; wife, Zita Nava of Madisonville; son, Allen Nava of Madisonville; daughters, Ailin & Camila Nava of Madisonville and Maria Nava of Las Vegas and sisters, Maria Villagrana & Nelly Nava of Madisonville.
