Franklin Fredrick "Bo" Kelly

Funeral services for Bo Kelly, age 85, will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Joel Douget will officiate the service. Interment will be in Burrows Cemetery near Madisonville, Texas. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 5th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Franklin Fredrick "Bo" Kelly, Sr. was born January 7, 1937 in Madisonville, Texas to parents, Loyd & Lally Rebecca (Morgan) Kelly. He was a lifelong resident of Madisonville. Bo owned and operated a successful roofing and construction business, and many of his family members worked alongside him. Having been raised in a large family himself, with eight siblings, Bo cherished his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They each meant the world to him and were all of great importance in Bo's life. When Bo wasn't working he enjoyed fishing, coon hunting and hog hunting. He passed away peacefully at his home October 3, 2022.

Bo was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Betty Kelly; children, Colin Paul Kelly & Sandra Kay "Sandy" Kelly; granddaughter, Crystal Renee' Harris; great-grandson, Levi Kelly; brothers, Jack, Joe, Loyd, Jr., Robert and Colin Kelly; sister, Maggie Driver and daughter-in-law, Connie Kelly.

Surviving family members include two sisters, Mary Alice “Dolly” Kelly Johnson of Bryan and Margie Kelly Robinson of Madisonville; children, Kathy (Billy) Harris of Madisonville, Jodie (Mike) Bishop of Madisonville, Karen (Dean) Hopkins of Buffalo, Frank Kelly, Jr. of Madisonville and Daniel (Candis) Kelly of Madisonville; grandchildren, Ray (Courtney) Harris, Justin Hopkins, Wendy (Michael) Noey, Nikki (Brian) Brady, Chuck (Lindy) Kelly, Clint (Clara) Kelly, Cole (Courtney) Kelly, Amy (Elias) Reyes, Kelsey (Tray) Taylor and Zack (Kaleigh) Kelly and great-grandchildren, Payton West, Porter West, McKenzie Noey, Hank Noey, Jacey Harris, Raylie Harris, Katy Harris, Gracie Reyes, Kixley Reyes, Anna Kelly, Bo Kelly, Grayson Taylor, Faith Taylor, Zoe Brady, Olivia Kelly, Kace Kelly Courtlyn Kelly and Cutler Kelly.

Final arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
