Funeral services for J.P. Langley, Jr., age 58, of Madisonville, Texas, will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville. Bros. Terry Bryan & Nathan Rogers will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Falba Cemetery. A brief visitation will be held Thursday, June 14th from 12 Noon to service time at the funeral home.

J.P. Langley was born June 5, 1960 in Huntsville, Texas to J.P., Sr. & Betty (Rogers) Langley. He lived most of his life in Madisonville and worked as a farmhand on several farms and ranches. J.P. enjoyed working on anything with a motor. He once built a go-cart out of an old bed frame. J.P. was lovingly known as “Uncle Junk” by his nieces and nephews. He passed away June 10, 2018 at his home in Madisonville and was preceded in death by his father.

J.P.’s surviving family members include mother, Betty Howard of Madisonville; brothers, David Langley, Sr. of Madisonville, Robert Langley of Madisonville and Danny Garner of Forney and sisters, Diane Hutchins of Madisonville and Brenda Bird of Madisonville. Also surviving, are a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of all arrangements.
