Jeffery Wayne Stringer

Funeral services for Jeffery Stringer, 64, of Madisonville will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Madisonville, Texas. President Gary Grubbs will officiate the service. The Stringer family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville. Mr. Stringer will later be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery in Las Vegas, NV.

Jeffery Wayne Stringer was born December 24, 1955 in Spanish Fork, UT to parents, Alfred George & Neva K. (Kennedy) Stringer. He had resided in Madisonville for the past five-and-a-half years, having come from Alice, TX and earlier, Las Vegas, NV. Jeffery was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Madisonville. He enjoyed building airplanes, working on his land and leather-working. Most of all, Jeffery loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Jeffery passed away June 18, 2020 in Madisonville. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; daughter, Carlyn Marie Stringer and brother, Kent Stringer.

Surviving family members include wife, Kelly Stringer of Madisonville; step-mother, Marie Stringer; sons, Andy Stringer (Nadine) of Madisonville, Jeffery Stringer (Linzie) of Corpus Christi, Calvin Stringer (Tristan) of Pilger, NE and Justin Stringer (Aimee) of Palestine; brothers, Chuck Stringer of Utah and Brent Stringer of British Columbia, Canada; sisters, Becky Gildersleve of Alberta, Canada and Rosie Stringer of British Columbia, Canada; grandchildren, Domminiq, Tyson, Zachary, Brayden, Evan, Caden, Callum, Alexys, Makenzie, Haley, Victoria and Meghan and great-grandchild, Jonathan.
