Jerry Lynn Shuck Sr.

Jerry Lynn Shuck Sr. was born on September 27, 1943, in Houston, Texas to Raymond Charles and Marjorie Rickie (Bishoff) Shuck, and passed away on August 6, 2024.

Jerry will be remembered as a man who rarely took anything seriously. He had a quiet demeanor but for those that knew him, Jerry was a real hoot and fun to be around. He had a great sense of humor, and this often showed up in the nicknames he gave everyone. His name was "Grumpy," and that captured his personality pretty well. That said, underneath his rough exterior was a caring person who was always chewing on a cigar, was passionate about guns, and loved to hunt. 

Jerry Shuck was preceded in death by both parents, Raymond and Marjorie Shuck; his wife, Sue (Fautheree) Shuck; daughter, Mary Ann Shuck; and grandson, Stephen Regmund.

Those left to cherish Jerry's memory are his sons, Jerry Lynn Shuck Jr. (Tammy) and Charles Shuck (Tina), both of Midway; brother, Richard Shuck (Nell) of Midway; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends. 

The final arrangements for Jerry Lynn Shuck Sr. are under the compassionate care and direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
