John Charles Benson

John Charles Benson was born May 15, 1948 in Franklin, Minnesota to Thornson & Evelyn Benson. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a physician’s assistant to Dr. Grover Hubley. He has also worked for T.D.C.J. in the Ferguson Unit. John enjoyed hunting, horse riding and watching westerns. He had lived in Madisonville since 1990.

John passed away December 28, 2018 at his home in Madisonville. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother, Bob Benson.

Survivors include son, Blake Benson (Felicia) of Willis; brother, Richard Benson of Huntsville and sister, Karen Theobald.

Madisonville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
