Funeral services for Jonathan Guy Barrett , age 50, of Spring, Texas will be held 11 A.M., Monday, November 9, 2020 at McAdams Chapel in Walker County, Texas. Mike Johnston will officiate the service. Interment will follow in McAdams Cemetery, adjacent to the chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.

Jonathan Guy Barrett was born February 8, 1970 in Houston, Texas to Hugh Redding & Bibiana Yvonne (Klodzinski) Barrett. He worked in the oil industry and had lived in Spring for the past ten years. Jonathan enjoyed fishing, cooking, a good movie, playing card games and bar-b-queing. He had a humorous personality and loved making people laugh and thought of his nieces and nephews as the children he never had.

Jonathan went to be with our Lord & Savior October 31, 2020 at his home in Spring. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Redding Barrett. Surviving family members include mother, Bibiana Yvonne Barrett, brothers, Hugh Wesley Barrett of Spring and Jason Wade Barrett of Crockett; sisters, Denise Orlean (Barrett) Tilley of Spring and Deborah Kay (Barrett) Whipple of Amarillo and nieces and nephews, Amber Nicole (Tilley) Dettloff, Danika Nicole (Whipple) Jarrett, Hugh Brandon Barrett, Ryan Reece Tilley, Kirstie Lynn (Whipple) Middleton, Brianna Rae Barrett and Kaitlynn MacKeenzie Whipple, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
