Kerry Louis Walker, Sr.

Graveside services for Kerry Walker, Sr., 72, will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Tanyard Cemetery, Madison County, Texas. Mr. Walker passed away at his home Thursday, April 16, 2020, following a lengthy illness.

Kerry Louis Walker, Sr., was born July 17, 1947, in Houston to Louis Marcellous Walker and Evola (Rochelle) Walker. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for a brief time and, most recently, worked as a truck driver for Crockett Sand and Gravel.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother, Glenn Walker. He is survived by wife, Callie Walker of Midway; son, Kerry Walker, Jr. (Kinitra) of Houston; daughter, Monique Walker-King of Houston; step-sons, Frederick Demond Johnson of Ft. Worth and Cleon Johnson of Marietta, GA; sisters, Linda Walker, Sandra Walker, Patricia Walker, Yovonne Mayberry (Reabo), Gloria Walker and Brenda Walker (Earl Youngblood) all of Houston and Gwendolyn Walker of Beeville; brothers, Richard Walker of Houston, Keith Walker (Bertha) of Lubbock, Earl Walker (Marva) of Corpus Christi and Ray Walker (Bernadette) of Bloomington and sister-in-law, Renee Walker of Corpus Christi. Mr. Walker is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
