Leisa Dawn Forrest was born May 18, 1959 in Madisonville, Texas to William Robert “Billy Bob” Forrest and Joyce Wakefield Forrest. She worked over 20 years as a Program Administrator for TDJC and over the last several years of her life she worked at estate sales which brought her closer to her passion of antiques, crafts, and any unique item you could think of. The most important thing in her life was her family. She loved her two daughters, grandbabies, and nieces and nephews more than anyone could imagine. Everything she did was around family. She enjoyed visiting, cooking out, or just setting around shooting the bull, but all this was done with love and, of course as mentioned, family. She is loved by many, will be missed greatly, and all her memories will live on forever.
Leisa is preceded in death by her dad, William Robert “Billy Bob” Forrest. Her surviving family members include mother, Joyce Wakefield Forrest of Midway, Texas; daughter & son-in-law, Jordan & Justin Dartez of Madisonville, Texas; daughter & son-in-law, Halli & Eric Falke of Bedias, Texas; grandchildren, Cameron, Raymee, Elle, Rhett, & Blake; sister, Billye Joyce “Jody” Forrest; brother, William Robert “Bill” Forrest, Jr.; sister & brother-in-law, Sonja & Tommy Buffaloe; niece, Kaylin & husband James Ghormley; niece, Anna Buffaloe; newphews, Cash Forrest & Caymen Forrest; great nephew, John Thomas; great niece, Olivia, and family friend, Sharon Nauls.
