Leonard Wright Albert

Leonard Wright Albert was born on July 29, 1942. He was first born in Rosebud, Texas, in Falls County. He was called home to be with our Lord on October 25, 2020. Leonard was preceded in death by both parents, Harry and Mary Albert and two brothers, Charles M. Albert and James H. Albert.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Bennie "BJ" Albert; Brother, Gerald L. Albert and wife Beverly; Three sons, Garon L. Albert and wife Belinda, Timothy D. Albert and wife Samantha, Terre J. Albert and wife Amy; Grandchildren, Ashley Wischnewsky and husband Barry, Dustin Albert, Karissa Young and husband Wil, Josh Swonger and wife Lacy, Wyatt Albert, Taylr Albert and Preston Kelley, Bailey Albert, Faith Albert, Mallorie Albert, Jonathon Albert, Gavin Acevedo, and Morgan Albert; Great-Grandchildren, Dakota Wischnewsky, Kamryn Swonger, Khloe Swonger and Kendal Young.

Leonard was a Past Master in the Masonic Lodge at Jewett Lodge #427, in Jewett, Texas. He was also an avid classic car enthusiast and a member of the Huntsville Cruisers Car Club. He was an active member of Normangee First Baptist Church in Normangee, Texas. Leonard was a great man and father, he never met a stranger, he loved talking to people and telling tales. He loved God, he loved his family and he loved his country.

Memorial services will be held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Evans Chapel United Methodist Church in Leona, Texas. Pastors Billy Evans and Bob Shirley will officiate the service.
