Mario Dean "Marty" Navarro

Graveside services for Marty Navarro, age 50, of Madisonville, Texas will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Rock Prairie Cemetery. Lance Ferguson will officiate the service. The Navarro family will receive friends Monday, December 21st from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.

Born Mario Dean Navarro February 9, 1970 in Houston, Texas, Marty was one of two sons to Raymond & Patsy JoAnn (Sinclair) Navarro. Marty lived most of his life in Madison County and was a peace officer in Leon County and the cities of Hearne, Jewett and Calvert. His line of work continuously provided him with an array of stories and happenings. Marty was also a member of the Jewett Masonic Lodge #427.

Marty passed away December 18, 2020 in College Station, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. Survivors include wife, Karen Navarro of Madisonville; sons, Randall Navarro of College Station and Wesley Navarro of Madisonville and brother, Jody Navarro of Madisonville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
