Martha "Diane" Mueller

Martha "Diane" Mueller, age 79, of Madisonville, Texas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones August 3, 2023.

Diane was born March 29, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Douglas Bailey & Helen (Kalil) Caldwell. She married her sweetheart, Robert E. Mueller, May 4, 1963. They had recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary in Diane's favorite place, Galveston, Texas. Diane and Robert had lived in Madisonville since December, 2021, coming from Magnolia, Texas. She was the owner and operator of "Denim 2 Lace" children's boutique located on the city square in Madisonville.

Diane was a serious Houston Astros fan. In younger years, she and Robert would go to games quite often. They later watched their favorite team on television when they became unable to attend. Diane was Catholic in faith.

Diane is survived by her beloved husband of sixty years, Robert Mueller of Madisonville; children, Jeff Mueller & wife, Melissa of Montgomery and Kelley Terry & husband, Billy of Madisonville; siblings, Doug Caldwell & wife, Karen of Spring and Linda Hood of Paris; grandchildren, Mason Terry of College Station, Briana Prickett & husband, Matt of Montgomery and Jeremy Mueller & wife, Karina of Tomball, as well as great-grandchildren, Camdyn and Caprice. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

A memorial service and fellowship for Diane will be held 4 P.M. to 6 P.M., Saturday, August 5, 2023 at First Methodist Church, Madisonville, Texas. Pastor of the church, Rev. Jim Jackson, will officiate the service. A celebration of life will continue at the Terry Residence following the memorial service.
