Michael Leonard Folsom

Michael Leonard Folsom, 52, was born in Houston, Texas on April 1, 1972, to parents, Billy Newsom and Linda Folsom and passed away on November 3, 2024. 

Michael was an individual who lived his life to the fullest and embraced every opportunity that came his way. Adrenaline was one of his favorite things which led to multiple jumps from a plane and the desire to always go fast. He was a natural born risk taker who experienced great highs and fear never intervened.

Michael had a passion for old Harleys and Chevrolets. While he actively sought out the next adventure, what he enjoyed the most was time with his family and friends. He enjoyed every moment with them and he had a love for helping others when he had the ability. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Michael was preceded in death by his special grandparents, Otha Lynder and Emma Luise Folsom; both parents; and sister, Sherrie Kay Peters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Tyler Crocker (Caitlyn) of North Zulch, Devin Gartman of Houston, and Kyle Folsom (Lorena) of Forney; sister, Cassie Hixon (Orval) of North Zulch; two grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
