Mintie Geen "Fuzzy" Denman Parrott

Mintie Geen Parrott was born May 26, 1939, in Artesia Wells Texas. She passed away peacefully at her home in Jacksonville Texas on September 16, 2021.

Mintie is preceded in death by her father John Webb, mother Berniece Hayes, stepfather Reuben Hayes and her husband Billy Denman.

Geen is survived by her husband Fred Parrott, and she survived the raising of two sons Russell Denman and Terry Denman.

Geen was blessed with five grandchildren and 14 wonderful great grandchildren.

Fuzzy as many knew her, was a beautiful, kind woman and friendly to all she met. She loved to travel frequenting areas like Colorado Springs, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, and New Mexico with her husband Fred. She smiled easily with that smile that would light up any room.

Geen was a dedicated hard worker retiring as County Treasurer of Jeff Davis County at the age of 75.

Mom’s passing will leave an empty spot in many lives. She could always be counted on if Rusty or Terry needed anything.

She will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Geen's life will be held 11 A.M., Friday, September 24, 2021 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Monroe Rice will officiate the service.
