Nancy Lee Marquess (also known as "Fancy Grandma"), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 30, 2024. Born in Newport News, Virginia, Nancy dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Marquessa, a Vietnam Veteran.

Nancy had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with her family. She found joy in friendly competition, often gathering with loved ones for spirited games of Bridge and Dominos. Her love for animals was evident in her life on a ranch, where she cared for her livestock and many domestic furry friends.

A devout Catholic, Nancy was an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Conroe, Texas, and a dedicated member of the Legion of Mary. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and providing her with strength.

Nancy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be fondly remembered.
