Rhonda Lee Boullion was born on November 22, 1965, in Waller, Texas. She later moved to Grimes County while young, where she would meet her future husband Donald, “Bullet,” and share 39 years, 9 months, and 26 days of marriage. A matriarch of not only her family but the Bedias community, Rhonda poured her heart into her work, her cooking, and the lives of others. Rhonda raised two daughters, Jennifer and Stacy, who carried on the love of their mother as they started their families.
Rhonda passed away at the age of 57 in her home in the presence of her family on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Ray Boullion; daughter, Jennifer Evans and husband, Colby; daughter, Stacy Boullion and husband, Glenn Miller; father-in-law, Don Boullion; grandchildren, Colton and fiancé, Lyndee, Connor, Jaycie, Pistol, Kylie and Kade; sisters, Tammy Pianalto and husband, Joe, Kimberly Crocker, and Virginia Sullivan; sister-in-law, Roxanne Pointer and husband, John; brother-in-law, Chris Boullion and wife, Gwen; sister-in-law, Michelle Clary and husband, Carl; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Known to many as Nana, Nonny, or even Rhonda B, if you were lucky enough to know her, you would feel the love and compassion Rhonda had for the community and her family. She was a member of Madisonville Christian Fellowship where she dedicated her life to the Lord and was baptized. Rhonda owned and operated multiple businesses in the 45 years that she lived in Bedias and was often the one-woman-pit crew for her husband, "Bullet's" races.
Rhonda enjoyed many hobbies, from cooking some of the best homemade food you would be lucky to try, cultivating her home garden, taking on seemingly impossible D-I-Y projects that were always finished, to the many hours spent fishing along the Texas coast.
Rhonda organized dozens of benefits, donated to many charities, and always gave a helping hand to a family in need. Christmas was especially important to her, where she and "Bullet" held the record for 1st Place Christmas floats in the Bedias Christmas Parade, a legacy that will live on through her family.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Marlin Crocker; mother, Patricia Lavon (Hall) Crocker; mother-in-law, Annie Bell Douga Boullion; grandparents, William Sherman and Ima Rena Brown Crocker; grandparents, William Monroe and Aubrey Lee Hall; brother-in-law, Terry Lynn Boullion, brother-in-law Craig Sullivan; and niece Lori Lynn Sanchez.
