Ronald Aldon Robertson

Ronald Robertson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and esteemed member of the Midway community, passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 77. Ronald was born on March 29, 1947, to proud parents Dorris Aldon and Doris Irene (Wilks) Robertson. He was a shining light in the lives of those around him.

In 1972, Ronald married his soulmate Christine Hamilton Robertson, and together they raised six wonderful children: Kimberly Gross, Michael Robertson (Lupe), Annette Leach (Chad Mouton), Cherri Robertson, Amberly Beamon (Matt) and Blue Gross. Others left to cherish Ronald’s memory include his sister Donna Nash, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Ronald pursued his education at Harlingen High School and graduated in 1965. He furthered his studies at College of the Mainland, Brazosport, Alvin Community College, and San Jacinto. His dedication to his work was evident in his roles as a police officer and master electrician, where he served with honor and distinction.

Ronald bravely served as a Sergeant in the Strategic Air Command arm of the United States Air Force demonstrating his commitment to his country and values. In his free time, he enjoyed hobbies like shooting targets, spending quality time with his family, and playing chess and games with his children and grandchildren.

Ronald Robertson will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and strong work ethic will forever be remembered. May he rest in peace knowing he left a lasting impact on the world and all who knew him.

A memorial service honoring Ronald is scheduled for January 18, 2025, at 12 P.M. at the Ryan Cemetery in Cleveland, Texas.
