Sandra Lou Childers

Funeral services for Sandra Lou Childers, age 77 of Madisonville, will be held 2 PM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Madisonville Christian Fellowship. Bro. Josh Schwarz and Bro Wade Phillips will officiate, and interment will follow at the Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch.

Sandra was born January 14, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Richard Lee and Ida Mae (Parker) Rolan. She grew up in Houston and Rockdale and, as an adult, worked as a bookkeeper. Sandra was always very meticulous with her bookkeeping. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and gambling. But, her favorite way to pass the time was to spend time with her family. Sandra attended Madisonville Christian Fellowship.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents. She passed away on January 24, 2020 at her home in Madisonville. Her surviving family members include husband, Jerry Don Childers; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kandi Childers; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Rick Gatlin; sister, Shirley Tucker; four grandchildren Dustin Gatlin, Sara Nacianceno, Kaley Barnett and Kassidy Childers and six great grandchildren, Brooke Gatlin, Colton Gatlin, Ana Nacianceno, Arianna Nacianceno , Myia Nacianceno and Hudson Barnett.

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville, Texas.
