Sherry also had a deep love for nature, especially her "critters"—the birds and squirrels she lovingly cared for in her yard. In her free time, she found joy in thrift shopping and engaging in various craft projects.
She was a long-time and faithful member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Madisonville, where she built meaningful relationships with her fellow parishioners.
