Funeral services for Stephen Harris, 19, of Huntsville will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Pastor Chuck Davis, of Celebration Church, Buffalo, Texas, will officiate. Interment will be in Rock Prairie Cemetery in rural Madison County, Texas. A visitation will take place Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Stephen Kade Harris was born July 16, 2002 in Bryan, Texas to Philip Harris & Dorothy (Robinson) Harris. He grew up in North Zulch, Texas and was a 2020 graduate of North Zulch High School. While attending high school, Stephen excelled in sports, including baseball and basketball and always enjoyed the after school program hosted by First Baptist Church in North Zulch. Stephen had lived in North Zulch his entire life and had resided the past three years in Huntsville. He was employed by Texas Pride Trailers as a crane operator. Stephen passed away July 8, 2022 in Madisonville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Floyd Kenneth Robinson; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Lou Harris; cousins, Daniel Byrd and Nicole Harris and uncle, Stephen Harris.
Surviving family members include mother, Dorothy Harris of Huntsville; father, Philip Harris of Hearne; brothers, Michael Harris (Ryanne) of College Station and Corei Lafoy (Hailey) of Huntsville; sisters, Kimberly Harris (Charles Weighat) of Montgomery and Kristen Ducic (Jonathan) of Pueblo, CO; girlfriend, Mia Teran of College Station; maternal grandmother, Brenda Robinson of Centerville; paternal grandfather, H.C. Harris of Spring and nieces and nephews, Kayler, Kellyn and Prestlyn Lafoy, Kaden and Kaylee Ridder and Emersyn Harris. Stephen is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas.
