Wanneice (Thomas) Price was born April 30, 1953, to Billie Thomas and Betty Jo Green-Burnham in Dumas, Texas. She went to school and graduated from Springwoods High School after which, she attended Sam Houston State University.
Wanneice worked as a legal secretary for several law firms before working for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where she retired after twenty years.
She traveled extensively in her life. She lived on a sailboat for a while with her cat, Buffet, and she also traveled with a rock band. Wanneice was always up for an adventure. Her recent trip to Costa Rica brought her so much joy.
Wanneice loved her family and friends, and she had many. Anyone who knew Wanneice loved her. She always helped anyone who needed a helping hand, a shoulder or even a meal.
Wanneice loved animals, always had a cat or two, even fed the strays around town so they wouldn’t go hungry. She had a pair of horny toads she raised and when they had babies, she would release them to the wild to do her part in saving them from extinction.
Wanneice was preceded in death by her “Daddy," Billy Thomas, her “Momma," Betty Jo Fields and her brother, Gary Thomas.
She is survived by her cat, “Baby” Bullet
