Weldon C Currie, Jr.

Weldon C. Currie, Jr. was born February 11, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Weldon C., Sr. & Erna Mae (Tuttle) Currie. He worked as an auto mechanic for Carey Presley at Infinity Truck and Car in Madisonville. Weldon had lived in Madisonville for the past forty years, coming from Houston. He was Baptist in faith and attended the First Baptist Church in Normangee, Texas. Weldon loved fishing in his spare time. He passed away January 18, 2018 at his home. Weldon was preceded in death by both of his parents; sister, Erna Faye Watson and brother, Billy Mae Coy.

Surviving family members include daughter, Celina Drake of Madisonville; sisters, Darlene Currie of Colorado and Annie Jean Currie of Dallas and granddaughters, Ariel Guy of Hemphill and Erica Guy of Madisonville.
